In this guide we'll be looking at how to set up a mail server and download e-mail to your phone. We'll use Gmail in our example.

This is what you do:

1. Start by pressing Settings.

2. Scroll down and press Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

3. Press Add Account.

4. Press the required mail option (we're using Gmail in our example).

5. Enter your name, your Gmail address and the password in the relevant fields.

6. Press Next.

7. Press and drag the ON/OFF buttons to choose whether you want your e-mail or calendar on or off.

8. Finish by pressing Save.

We've now looked at how to link your e-mail to your phone. In this example, we linked a free Gmail account to your phone. Messages sent to your Gmail account can now be read directly on your phone.
