Facebook is calling their new upgrade Facebook Timeline and in a way its a new concept of what facebook is all about. Its much more about how you present yourself for your friends with this timeline thinking. Your friends can choose a specific year and mounth when looking at your facebook profile and quickly access all your (facebook) activity for that specific time. The idea is to connect pretty much everything you do online to facebook with help from facebook connect and of course all your offline activity that you put into facebook. You can self modify and customize your profile page and timeline so that it is presented in the way you want.

So i quess in some way you could call the new facebook with timeline the digital diary of your life, with the big difference that it include all ongoing online activity that you do. Facebook will be the big social media hub where we meet and listen to music and play games together. This is the time when we leave the concept of telling people what we did and start to do stuff together live in facebook.
