Google Chrome is a browser developed by Google. Google Chrome is open source software. This browser uses the WebKit framework as a rendering engine. Chrome is programmer slang for Chromium, the graphical user interface. In Google Chrome, window tab management is displayed in the browser window's linked [windows?] and is handled separately and in a more general way in relation to the other tabs. The idea behind Google Chrome is for all Google-related products to be integrated with the browser, unlike with Firefox, which is based on adding applications. This means that the computer's operating system, such as Windows, Mac OS X or Linux, is of less importance as you can access the most common applications such as Google Documents, Gmail and Google Calendar via the browser.
